Join in the celebration with European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) 2026
Join in the celebration with European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) 2026, Northern Ireland's annual festival of local architecture, history and culture!
Taking place throughout September, EHOD 2026 offers hundreds of free opportunities to explore hidden gems, discover fascinating stories and enjoy unique experiences across Northern Ireland.
Here at Saint Augustine's Church we welcome a new season on Saturday 12th September at 1.30pm with a selection of music and poetry reflecting the changing aspects of autumn. International organist David McGuckin and BBC presenter/poet Anne McMaster offer an immersive programme expressly curated for the intimate setting of St. Augustine’s Church, guiding listeners on a slow journey from the last days of summer through to first frosts and shortening days. With Anne’s collection of new writing complementing David’s wide range of autumnally-inspired music, this recital offers listeners precious time to reflect and enjoy these cooler, colourful days.
All welcome
